The Phillip Webb award celebrates new design in the context of historic buildings for graduates at the beginning of their architectural career. Kate recieved third place and presented alongside Marta Ascenso of the Mackintosh School of Architecture (1st place) and Alanah Honey who studied at Newcastle University (2nd place).
The venue for this years awards, St Martin in the fields, is an excellent example of how new design can make a positive contribution to a rich backdrop of heritage.
